Ryan Boland, new Second Vice Chairman. Ryan was a campaign coordinator
for the Romney campaign in the 9th District. He also brings very good
technical skills with him, so look for Gilmer GOP on FaceBook soon.
Charlie Paris, new Secretary. Charlie ran for county Tax Commissioner in
2012, and has an extensive resume in the private sector. He will be great at
keeping our records for us.

Jerry Tuso, First Vice Chairman. Jerry has been a part of the GOP
organization here for many years, and we have always been able to count on
him whenever and wherever he was needed.
Rita Odom, Treasurer. What would we do without Rita, who has our
institutional memory, and whose hold on the purse strings is indisputable and
unquestioned. She has kept us financially sound and organizationally on
track.
Thank you to...
George McClellan, outgoing Chairman, for his four years of service and for
shaking the trees on more than one occasion. He challenged and questioned
all, going where no Chairman has gone before. It brought forth needed debate.
Greg Altman, Secretary, and Don Murray, 2nd Vice Chairman. They chose
not to run again. They have both given so generously of their time and
expertise, and were a big reason the Gilmer GOP was able to do as much as it
did. They put forward one idea after another, with Greg keeping the group on
focus, and Don the "get 'er done" person.
And can anyone have been better than Joene DePlancke at digging up facts
and figures on any number of issues impacting us.
